Visit Schedule: During your pregnancy, you will need continued observation. It is recommended to visit your midwife no less than 6 times over 9 months of pregnancy. Not all mothers are the same, and some will need more frequent visits especially in your second and third trimester.

Significance: Even if you’re feeling well, it’s important for you to attend your appointments so that any potential risks can be identified and managed as early as possible. We also know during pregnancy you might feel anxious or overwhelmed - Bidanku will support you with information about common signs, symptoms, and warnings signs so there are no surprises.

During Consultation: Your Bidan will help you by checking you and your newborn baby’s health. The Bidan will also guide you to identify common symptoms related to health issues in newborn babies and mothers post-pregnancy.

Visit Schedule: As a new mother, care after pregnancy or Postnatal Care will need to be monitored closely for 6 weeks.

Significance: This is primarily a method for your Bidan to ensure you are recovering after birth and an opportunity for your Bidan to provide any additional interventions. PNC is not just for you as a mother but also for your newborn - your bidan will utilize this opportunity to ensure your baby is also happy and healthy.

During Consultation: Your Bidan will help you during your delivery and after your baby arrives, important health measurements will be taken to ensure that both you and your baby are doing well.

Visit Schedule: You need to contact your Bidan or nearest clinic for delivery, based on your due date or signs of labour.

Significance: It is important to have a Bidan by your side during the delivery to make sure you have a safe childbirth experience. Your Bidan will also help you in preparing for PNC and Immunization schedule post-pregnancy.

During Consultation: Your Bidan will help you and your partner with the contraceptives best suited to your needs. Bidanku will assist you to keep track of your appointments and reminders.

Visit Schedule: Depending on the contraceptive prescribed to you, your Bidan will schedule the next visit. You can also visit your Bidan if you have any issues or want to further discuss family planning.

Significance: Family planning improves pregnancy planning, as well as prevention of unintended pregnancy. It is important that you are able to control your future and determine when or if you are ready to have children.

During Consultation: Your Bidan will usually give your baby a brief check-up to make sure he/she is well followed by providing scheduled vaccines. The Bidan will also guide you with your child's upcoming vaccination schedule.

Visit Schedule: You can visit the Bidan as per the vaccination schedule. Bidanku will keep you updated with the next visit reminder and other important vaccine-related communications from your Bidan.

Significance: As a new parent immunization can seem overwhelming. Your midwife will utilize bidanku to ensure your baby receives the Vaccinations they need. Vaccinations will protect your child from preventable diseases and it is important their vaccinations are taken timely.
